Abstract

Perubahan lingkungan akademik, sistem dan proses pembelajaran menjadi salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama sehingga mereka diharuskan untuk memiliki kemampuan resiliensi akademik dan motivasi belajar agar dapat bertahan dalam situasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi akademik dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Sriwijaya serta hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Sriwijaya yang berjumlah 89 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala psikologis dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara resiliensi akademik dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Sriwijaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara resiliensi akademik dengan motivasi belajar dengan nilai 0,746 > 0,1755 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan termasuk dalam kategori kuat sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima.
