Abstract

Along with the development of the cosmetic industry, there are currently many cosmetic products with various advantages, especially in terms of the composition of the product. One of the most popular cosmetic products is face masks. The fact that the development of the cosmetic industry is causing consumers to find it difficult to choose a mask product that suits their skin condition, especially those who do not understand face masks. When consumers choose the wrong face mask, more severe skin problems will arise. So that the selection of masks based on skin conditions is important. In this study, a Decision Support System for Selection of Organic Masks was implemented with the criteria used, namely skin condition, age, and type of mask and using the Weighted Product (WP) method so that a recommendation for ranking mask variants based on the criteria entered by the user was generated. The system that has been built has been tested to experts and users using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) where the percent interpretation value of the statements that have been submitted to respondents has an average percentage of 88% so that the system that has been created can help problems that arise there is.
