Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of self-efficacy to future orientation of 12th grade students at senior high school “x” at Palembang. The hyphotesis of this research is there was correlation between self-efficacy to future orientation of 12th grade students at senior high school “x” at Palembang. The instrument that used in this research was try out test which consist of 70 respondents and for research sample consist of 108 respondents. This research using sample purposive sampling technique. The data collection methods that used in this study is self-efficacy scale and future orientation scale. The result was analyzed using spearman rank correlation. The result of linearity test show self-efficacy have correlation to future orientation, proved by the score of spearman rank correlations is 0,295 and the signification score is 0,002 (p<0,05). The hypothesis is accepted.
