Abstract

This aims of this study was to prove the effect of classroom climate on students’ learning motivation economics subjects at MA Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. This method of this study was quantitative research with the type of associative method. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS at MA Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. The research sample was determined using Cluster Random Sampling in order to obtain 2 classes totaling 56 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations with a Likert scale. The hypothesis uses paramentric statistics, namely the t-test obtained by tcount ttable , namely 4.378 ≥ 1.673, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, then with the product moment correlation test, the value of r = 0.512 is quite influential. The determinant coefficient shows the contribution of class climate to students' learning motivation by 26.22%, the rest is influenced by other factors or variables, and it can be concluded that the relationship between the two variables is significant. So it is recommended for schools and especially educators of economic subjects to be able to create a conducive and comfortable classroom climate so that students feel calm and at home to learn. It aims to increase students' learning motivation, with educators and fellow students. keywords : Class Climate, Learning Motivation
