Abstract

PT. Astaka Dodol is a coal mining company that performs coal mining activities using an Open Pit and a series of mechanical equipment. Coal mining is carried out using a series of mechanical equipment in the form of a digging tool in the form of a backhoe and a conveyance in the form of a dump truck continuously. This activity invites an important role for coal mining, especially in the pit A1-B area. Because in the pit mining activities are ongoing. Product targets at PT. Astaka Dodol is as follows: the achievement of the production target in pit A1-B is Overburden of 135,500 BCM and for coal production of 40,000 Tons. However, in reality the achievement of production is not achieved so it is necessary to evaluate the productivity of the backhoe digging tool and dump truck conveyance. The results showed that the actual productivity calculation of the Sany 365 digging tool was 28.061,8 BCM/month (Overburden) and 35.315.35 Tons/month (coal) as well as dump truck transport equipment Faw FD336DT 4.160,25 BCM/month (Overburden) and Hino FM350PL 4,362.44 Tons/month (coal). The cause of production is not achieved due to a lot of lost time on the performance of the operator. After evaluating the lost production time, it can be seen that there is still a large amount of time lost in one work shift. Evaluation by reducing the time of obstacles that can be avoided such as operator delays, site preparation, daily maintenance and standby time. And it was found that production increased to Sany 365 digging equipment of 80.106,32 BCM/month (Overburden) and 47,842.16 Tons/month (coal) as well as dump truck transportation equipment Faw FD336DT 11.881,98 BCM/month (Overburden) and Hino FM350PL 6,101,76 Tons/month (coal).
