Abstract

DIAH ADELIA. Pengaruh Tanaman Zinnia elegans Jacq. Yang Ditanam di Sekitar Pertanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annum L.) Terhadap Keanekaragaman Spesies Arthropoda Entomofag (Dibimbing oleh Chandra Irsan). Tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran yang memiliki nilai ekonomi cukup tinggi. Selain itu cabai merah juga sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari – hari sebagai bahan dapur. Penanaman Zinnia elegans Jacq. Diharapkan mampu mampu meningkatkan keanekaragaman arthropoda entomofag dan menekan populasi serangga fitofag yang berpotensi sebagai hama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman spesies arthropoda entomofag yang hadir ke pertanaman cabai yang tidak ditanami Z. elegans dan ditanami refugia Z. elegans. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisa. Penelitian dilakukan setiap interval 7 hari selama 8 minggu. Arthropoda entomofag yang datang ke pertanaman cabai merah diambil menggunakan perangkap pantrap dan pitfalltrap. Semua arthropoda entomofag yang didapat kemudian diidentifikasi berdasarkan ciri – ciri morfologinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman refugia Z. elegans dapat meningkatkan keanekaragaman spesies arthropoda entomofag yang hadir ke pertanaman cabai merah C. annum. Spesies arthropoda entomofag yang didapat pada pertanaman cabai merah yang tidak ditanami dan ditanami Z. elegans berturut – turut sebanyak 9 dan 25 spesies.
