Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) To describe how the business and economic development of BUMDes Berkat betua, (2) To describe the form of utilization of village allocation funds carried out by BUMDes Berkat Betua. (3) To formulate a strategy for developing the BUMDes Berkat Betua in order to solve poverty in Sakatiga Seberang Village.This research was conducted in Sakatiga Seberang Village, Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research location was chosen based on the consideration that in Sakatiga Seberang Village is one of the villages located in Ogan Ilir Regency that has BUMDes that still need to be developed again. Sampling based on stakeholders involved in the development of BUMDes such as BPD, BUMDes Governing Body, PKK group, and Farmers Group. The data used in this study consist of primary data and secondary data. BUMDes Berkat Betua manages the Vulcanized Motorcycle Tire business unit against the background that the majority of the villagers of Sakatiga Seberang who use motorcycle vehicles. SWOT analysis for bumdes development strategy thanks to Betua in order to solve poverty in Sakatiga Seberang Village, Indralaya district, Ogan Ilir Regency is to use the Defensive strategy of WT (Weakness-Threatness) namely, (1) Recruitment of BUMDes Berkat Betua members through community support and participaton, (2) Maximize BUMDes Berkat Betua funds management to develop innovation from business.
