Abstract
This study aims to describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities using the PMRI approach through Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) in grade VII students on gross, net and tare material assisted by learning videos during the covid-19 period. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects are students of class VII.1 in SMP Negeri 1 Palembang, totaling 33 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, giving test questions in the form of descriptions, and interviews. After doing the research, it was found that the indicators of the mathematical reasoning ability of the VII.1 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Palembang on the gross, net and tare material had appeared, although not all of them achieved the maximum score. The indicators that are most often raised by students are indicators of proposing mathematical conjectures and manipulations, while the indicators that students rarely appear are indicators of drawing conclusions from a statement.
