Abstract

Penelitian mengenai Keanekaragaman Spesies Tumbuhan Di Kawasan Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu Kota Palembang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman spesies tumbuhan di Kawasan Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Telah dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2010 sampai dengan November 2010, lokasi sampling di Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kombinasi, yaitu gabungan antara metode jalur dan transek dengan garis berpetak. Lokasi sampling penelitian dibagi menjadi 3 stasiun, dimana pada stasiun I terdiri dari 3 transek, sedangkan pada stasiun II dan III hanya menggunakan satu transek. Pada tiap-tiap transek dibuat plot ukuran 20 x 20 m untuk tingkat pohon, 10 x 10 m untuk tingkat tiang, 5 x 5 m untuk tingkat pancang dan 2 x 2 m untuk tingkat semai. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman spesies pada stasiun I lebih tinggi dibandingkan stasiun II dan III 0,820 (pohon), 0,976 (tiang), 0 (pancang) dan 1,745 (semai). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Indeks keanekaragaman spesies tingkat pohon, tiang, pancang serta semai dan tumbuhan bawah pada stasiun I lebih tinggi dibandingkan stasiun II dan stasiun III.
