Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai adsorpsi dan desorpsi metilen biru menggunakan komposit FesCU-zeolit. Karakterisasi komposit Fe304-zeolit dilakukan dengan XRD dan SEM. Konsentrasi dan volume metilen biru yang digunakan adalah 50 mg/L dan 50 mL. Parameter adsorpsi untuk mendapatkan kondisi optimum meliputi berat komposit dengan variasi 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 mg, waktu kontak dengan variasi 0, 15, 30, 45, 60 menit dan pH optimum dengan variasi 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Komposit hasil adsorpsi pada kondisi optimum didesorpsi dengan variasi air panas 100°C, pH 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, etanol dan H2O2 30 %. Hasil XRD berdasarkan sudut 20 menunjukkan adanya fasa Fe3C>4 dan karakterisasi SEM menunjukkan Fe304 sebagian menutupi pori-pori zeolit. Kondisi optimum yang diperoleh yaitu berat komposit 400 mg, waktu kontak 15 menit dan pH 5, dengan konsentrasi metilen biru teradsorpsi sebesar 49,914 mg/L dan persentase penyerapan sebesar 99,828 %. Persentase desorpsi terbesar adalah 5,075 % menggunakan etanol. KataKunci :metilen biru, kompositFe^O^zeolit, adsorpsi, desorpsi
