Abstract
This research aimed to examine the performance test of tea fertilizer sowing machine (TAPEH) on various land conditions. This research was conducted on August 2021 at the Liki Tea Plantation of PT Mitra Kerinci, South Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research method was descriptive-quantitative method and the data collection used three different land conditions. Observed parameters included effective capacity and fuel requirements. The results indicated that the treatment of the capacity value was effective on various land conditions with the highest value on A1, namely the land condition with parallel crossings with a value of 0.644 ha/hour and the lowest value on A3 namely land conditions with irregular plants with a value of 0.537 ha/hour. Effective capacity was affected by land conditions, fertilizer conditions, and the operator who runs the machine. The lowest value of fuel requirements on A2 was the land condition with land a basin crossing with a value of 0.6188 L/hour and the highest on A3 was the land condition with irregular plants with a value of 0.787 L/hour. The longer time required for fuel, the more fuel is consumed.
