Abstract

The secondary metabolite was isolated from endophytic fungi Aspergillus sp of leaves kunyit putih (Curcuma zedoaria (Berg) Roscoe). The isolation was began with cultivation of green fungi (Aspergillus sp) in 8 L PDB’s media {Potato Dextrose Broth) until 48 days. The liquid culture medium was extracted partially used ethyl acetate and then evaporated. The extract of ethyl acetate was separated and purified by chromatography techniques. The pure compound (24.30 mg from 8 L liquid culture medium) was isolated in form of yellow oil and then it was analyzed by using NMR 1D and 2D. Base on spectroscopy analysis data NMR 1D and 2D, this coumpound was 5(5”- isobuthyl,3’,5’-dihydroxy -7 - methyl -octane - 2’,4’-dienyl) - 2,2 - dimethyl-7-metoxy-cycloheptane-3,6-dienyl-l,3-dione with molecular formula C23H34O5.
