Abstract
The main compound of the fungus Acremonium sp on kandis gajah plant loranches (Garcinia griffithii T. Anders) have been isolated. Isolation began with the cnltivation of the fungus Acremonium sp on stationary fase 3 L medium in the PDB (Potato Dextrose Broth) for eight weeks. Media was extracted with ethyl acetate and concentrated with evaporation. Ethyl acetate extract obtained 3.16 g then performed separation and purification by chromatography techniques with the gradient eluent n-hexane-ethyl acetate (10:0-0:10) to obtain the pure compound in from of white powder 87 mg. The structure of pure compound was determined by NMR 1D and 2D spectroscopy method, and its antioxidan activity was tested by l.l-diphenyl-2-fikrinidrazil (DPPH) method. Based on the spectroscopy data analyze, it is known that compound the isolation is 1-(5,benzoyl-3,,4,-dihydroxsi-2’-metoksi-2’,3’-dihidrofuran-2-il)-3,4,5-trihidroksi-2-metilnona- ,6-dien-l-on with the molecular formula C22H26O9. The compound from isolation is active antioxidant with IC50 of 46,49 ppm.
