Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze value for money in the construction of deep wells in the south sumatera province environment and Land Service for the 2018 fiscal year. this type of research is descriptive qualitative. this study processes and then examines data from direct observations and interview. the data used are primary data and secondary data. to measure budget performance based on value for money, 3 main aspect are used, namely economic, efficiency and effectiveness. The economic dimension consists of an indicator of the comparison of inputs with input, maximum result and the existence of economic value. on the dimension of effectiveness, namely indicators of comparison of outcomes with ouput and the achievement of activity objectives. the results of this study indicate that the construcion of boreholes has implemented the concept of value for money which is indicated by the compatibility between the use of an enconomical budget, maximum results and obtaining benefits that can be felt by the community. the result of this study provide suggestions for budget planning and activities, it is necessary to conduct further surveys on the conditions of the areas that are the target of activities to avoid unwanted conditions.
