Abstract

PT Tunas Jaya Perkasa developed a business as a coal mining contractor at PT Jorong Barutama Greston with a coal production target of 1,806,000 tons / year with a project life of 5 years. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it can be determined, the fleet scenario, namely for the fleet scenario that will be used in overburden mining, totaling 11 fleets using a digging tool 2 units of Komatsu PC400 where each fleet is paired with 6 units of Quester CWE370 dump trucks, 2 units of Komatsu PC500 where each fleet is paired with 6 units of Volvo FMX400 dump trucks, 4 units of hitachi 470 where each fleet is paired with 7 Quester CWE370 dump trucks, and 3 units of caterpillar 349D2 L where each fleet is paired with 6 units of Volvo FMX400 dump trucks. As for coal getting activities, there are 2 fleets using 2 hitachi 350 units where each fleet is paired with 7 Quester CGE370 dump trucks. The optimum tier geometry for mining operations is recommended, namely the height of the ladder 12.99 m and width of work area 10.65 m. The geometry of the haul road is recommended, namely the width of the haul road on a straight road condition of 8.925 m while on a bend condition of 11.2 m, a maximum grade of 8%, a cross slope of 4% or a height difference of 17.85 cm, and superelevation 2%. The results of the calculation of investment feasibility obtained a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp 364.536.121.230,41, Internal Of Return (IRR) 51.68%, and Payback Period at the age of the project 1.8 years or 22 months. Meanwhile, the sensitivity analysis with the assumption that operational cost parameters change by -20%, -10%, +10% and +20%, shows that operational costs are parameters that are sensitive to changes in NPV, IRR and Payback Period.
