Abstract

The research about the effect of WO3 weight on porousity and acidity of W03-Ti02 composite had been done. Composite W03-Ti02 was synthesized using disperse method and calcined at air atmosphere. Composite obtained were eharacteiized by XRD method and gas sorption analyzer and then aeidity with ammonia adsorption. Type of adsorption isotherm (BDDT) wich formed is type II for mesopore catalysts. The research showed that WO3 15% (w/w) composite had a decrease in surface area, increase in total pore volume and radius of the average pore into 9,64 m2/g, 0,07 cc/g and 146 A, compared with pure TiC>2. While the composite aeidity increase to 1.47 mmol/g. WO3-T1O2 composites 15% can be used as a catalyst due to it has the smallest surface area decreased but the highest aeidity increased and having pore type of mesopore.
