Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh warna lampu terhadap berat total, panjang totaJ dan species ikan yang tertangkap di bagan tancap pada tanggal 12-15 Agustus 2010 ( 2 - 5 Ramadhan 1431) di Perairan Sungsang Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan perlakuan cahaya lampu petromaks warna putih, biru dan kuning yang digunakan pada 3 buah bagan tancap. Lokasi penelitian terletak pada 2° 17 06,45 LS dan 105° 01 23,01” BT. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), kemudian untuk analisis data menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lampu yang berpengaruh nyata selama penelitian adalah lampu putih yang secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa jumlah dan berat total tangkapannya signifikan terhadap perlakuan lainnya (P<0.05). Jenis-jenis ikan yang dominan tertangkap adalah teri (Stolephorus Sp) dan cumi-cumi (Loligo Sp) yang banyak tertangkap pada lampu putih dan kuning, adapun ikan permato (Ilisha elongata), japuh (Dussumieria acuta) dan petek ( Leiognatus Sp) lebih banyak tertangkap pada lampu biru. Kata kunci : Bagan Tancap, Hasil tangkapan, Perairan Sungsang, lampu.
