Abstract

The objective of this research was to identify postharvest paddy loss in irrigated rice field. This research used survey method by direct observation in the field and data Processing used descriptive method. It was conducted in irrigated ricefield which cultivated Ciherang variety. The results showed that the harvest loss was 6.68 %, transportation was 3.05 %, threshing was 2.07 %, drying was 0.55 %, storage was 0.32 %, and milling was 2.24 %. The postharvest total loss was 14.91 %.
