Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul persepsi siswa tentang motivasi belajar ekstrinsik di SMA Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian survei yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang motivasi belajar ekstrinsik dari guru di SMA Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu model skala Likert. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 192 orang siswa kelas XI dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Random Sampling yang berjumlah 65 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 47% siswa memiliki persepsi baik tentang motivasi belajar ekstrinsik dari guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa. Hal ini berarti guru telah memberikan motivasi belajar ekstrinsik kepada siswa agar dapat meningkatkan semangat siswa dalam belajar.
