Abstract

Pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2021 di PT Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa terjadi perbedaan antara tonase insitu dengan tonase batubara tertambang. Hal ini mengindikasikan di PT Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa sering kali mengalami kehilangan (losses). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghitung coal losses pada kegiatan penambangan bulan Juni 2021 di PT Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa dan faktor-faktor penyebabnya serta upaya untuk meminimalisir terjadinya coal losses. Perhitungan dilakukan menggunakan perbandingan tonase insitu dari Minescape 5.7 dan tonase aktual tertambang berdasarkan truck count. Hasil penelitian didapat coal losses keseluruhan sebesar 5,17% (13.339,10 ton). Keseluruhan coal losses itu terbagi dibeberapa kegiatan yaitu, pada coal cleaning sebesar 3,84% (9.914,607 ton), pada front penambangan (coal getting) sebesar 1,23% (3.173,89 ton), dan pada pengangkutan (hauling) batubara sebesar 0,1% (250,6 ton). Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya coal losses yaitu coal cleaning melebihi batas kedalaman yang ditentukan, pemuatan melebihi kapasitas vessel, sistem drainase yang kurang baik di area penambangan, batubara tertinggal di area floor dan final wall yang masih tebal, terjatuhnya batubara disepanjang jalan angkut akibat jalan yang kurang baik, serta kinerja yang kurang dari operator, driver, dan pengawas. Upaya untuk meminimalisir terjadinya coal losses ialah pemanfaatan hasil cleaning batubara untuk dijual, pemuatan batubara tidak melebihi kapasitas vessel, pembuatan sistem drainase yang baik, area front penambangan yang telah mencapai final wall dan floor perlu dilakukan trimming, perbaikan jalan angkut, serta pelatihan dan pengawasan terhadap operator dan driver.
