Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the effectiveness of solid organic fertilizers enriched Trichoderma sp. in increasing the growth and production of onions, and 2) determine the dose of organic fertilizer + Trichoderma sp. It is appropriate in increasing the growth and production of onions. The study was conducted from May to October 2021 at the Unsri Experiment Garden. This study was compiled using a RandomIzed Group Design with 5 treatment levels, T0 (Solid organic fertilizer enriched Trichoderma sp. dose of 0 kg ha-1); T1 (Solid organic fertilizer enriched Trichoderma sp. dose of 200 kg ha-1); T2 (Solid solid organic fertilizer enriched Trichoderma sp. dose of 300 kg ha-1); T3 (Solid solid organic fertilizer enriched Trichoderma sp. dose of 400 kg ha-1); and T4 (Solid organic fertilizer enriched Trichoderma sp. dose of 500 kg ha-1). Each treatment is repeated 5 times so that there are 25 units of trial. Data taken during the study was analyzed using ANOVA by comparing the value of F calculated with F table with a confidence level of 95%. If F test is a real effect then continued with the DMRT. The results showed that the treatment of solid organic fertilizers enriched Trichoderma sp. it has a real effect on the fresh weight of the bulbs, the dry weight of the bulbs, the diameter of the bulbs, and the production of shallots. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that solid organic fertilizers enriched Trichoderma sp. A dose of 400 kg ha-1 is the best treatment in increasing the fresh weight of the bulbs, the dry weight of the bulbs, and the production of onions. Analysis of onion farming based on B/C ratio, R/C ratio, and Break Even Point (BEP) shows that onion crop farming is feasible and profitable.
