Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experimental) using two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group which were selected randomly. The study was conducted in 1 meeting which aims to find out whether there is a comparison of student learning outcomes using Problem based learning (PBL) and Lecture methods and how big the difference in learning outcomes obtained by students in Occupational Health and Safety subjects at SMK Negeri 3 Sekayu. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest. The results showed that student learning outcomes using the PBL method averaged 74.95 student learning outcomes using the lecture method 70.5, there was a comparison of student learning outcomes between the PBL method and the lecture method. This can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test for T_count which is 2.905 which is greater than T_table which is 2.02. The results of the study indicate that experimental methods can be used in the online system learning process.
