Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh current ratio, debt equity ratio, net profit margin dan fixed asset turnover terhadap return on equity. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2014 – 2016. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data populasi sebanyak 41 dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 17 perusahaan. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan variabel current ratio dan debt equity ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap return on equity, sedangkan variabel net profti margin dan fixed asset turnover berpengaruh terhadap return on equity. Kemampuan keempat variabel dalam mempengaruhi manajemen laba sebesar sebesar 45,1 % sedangkan sisanya 54,9 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel penelitian ini.
