Abstract

This study aims to determine the increased motivation and student learning result of XI IPA 2 class at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang through the use of learning media flash cards. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research, conducted in three cycles that consists of six meetings. The results showed exhaustiveness student learning result in the cycle I equal to 47.5%, cycle II equal to 67,5%, and cycles III equal to 87.5%. Students' motivation on cycle I equal to 74%, cycle II equal to 77.13%, and at cycle III equal to 79.03%. Based on the data obtained shows that the motivation and student learning result can be improved with the use of learning media flash cards.
