Abstract

The weakness of the implementation of self-isolation monitoring and the limitations of health care workers in self-isolation monitoring are factors that cause monitoring to self-isolation patients is not good, so that patients who experience worsening symptoms when self-isolation is too late to be handled. This research aims to develop a daily monitoring system of self-isolation with the utilization of whatsapp applications at the Public Health Center in Palembang City so that self-isolation monitoring is more effective and efficient. This research method uses a qualitative approach, which is carried out with 3 stages, namely the stage of data collection and information overview of the implementation of self-isolation monitoring in terms of man, money, method, material, system development based on the information obtained and the last delphi method instead of the trial stage. The results of the study found that the man indicator is a covid team with sufficient categories and according to competence, method indicators for the absence of sop monitoring centralized, self-isolation monitoring is done by visiting the patient's home and online, material indicators of tools used by public health centers related to body vital gauges, personal protective equipment and form monitoring. Recommendations for development on non-pharmacological and pharmacological procedures based on information submitted by informants. The trial phase with delphi method shows that the development of self-isolation monitoring system has been appropriate and approved by public health center officers, public health center officers also assess the utilization of whatsapp for effective and efficient self-isolation monitoring. The conclusion of this study is that the development of a self-isolation monitoring system conducted approved by public health center officials for use and has been in accordance with the situation and conditions of public health centers in the city of Palembang, it is recommended that public health center in Palembang city can accommodate the results of this study to be a guide so that the monitoring of self-isolation patients is standardized and equally.
