Abstract

Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) merupakan inovasi beton mutu tinggi yang tidak menggunakan agregat kasar sebagai material penyusun. Penggunaan silica fume dan steel fiber dalam campuran bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan beton terhadap retak kecil (microcrack). Perawatan beton dengan uap dapat mempercepat pencapaian kuat tekan maksimum, pada penelitian ini terdapat tiga variasi temperatur perawatan yaitu 60℃, 90℃ dan 120℃. Pengujian mikrostruktur RPC bertujuan untuk melakukan kontrol terhadap karakteristik beton dan mengamati perkembangan komponen penyusun pada umur dan temperature perawatan yang berbeda. Pengujian kuat tekan beton RPC menggunakan benda uji silinder 100 x 200 mm. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan temperatur perawatan optimum untuk RPC adalah 90℃ dengan struktur C-S-H paling padat berdasarkan hasil pembacaan SEM. Kuat tekan maksimum RPC yang dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah 74,80 MPa
