Abstract
COVID-19 is a new type of disease that was recently discovered and designated as a worldwide pandemic, including in Indonesia. This disease is very dangerous because it can spread quickly and cause death. In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, the government has implemented a vaccination program. In the implementation of this program, health workers are the main element in dealing with this virus attack in serving the community. So in this case, it is possible for COVID-19 to become an occupational disease for vaccination officers. Therefore, more attention and protection is needed for vaccination officers so as not to contract COVID-19 at work, namely by controlling the risk of COVID-19 in the workplace. This study aims to analyze the risk control of COVID-19 in an effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 to vaccination officers at the Merdeka Health Center. This study uses a qualitative method with 6 informants. Selection of informants based on the principle of suitability and adequacy of information. One of the informants' criteria is to be directly involved in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination at the Merdeka Health Center. The results of the study indicate that in the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination, there is a suitability and adequacy of human resources on duty in accordance with work shifts, there are policies that are guided by regulations from the Ministry of Health, there is a budget provided from the Health Office in the form of logistics, as well as facilities and infrastructure related to risk control. such as facilities for washing hands with liquid soap and running water, hand sanitizers, routine spraying with disinfectants, PPE, as well as workplace infrastructure in accordance with health protocols and the presence of TPS for COVID-19 vaccination waste. It can be concluded that the Merdeka Health Center has made efforts related to COVID-19 risk control for COVID-19 vaccination officers, namely in technical control, administrative control, and PPE. It is hoped that this research can become the basis for the Merdeka Health Center and other health facilities to increase efforts to control the risk of COVID-19.
