Abstract

A control system for providing nutrition for aeropoitic kale has been designed with fuzzy logic control. The way this system works is by issuing additional ppm of water (nutrients) if the system detects the nutritional value in the cross section is less/not in accordance with current plant needs based on plant age reference data. The addition of ppm water is flowed by a pump (submersibble) through a waterflow sensor with the aim of knowing the water discharge so that the water output matches the output of the fuzzy system. In addition to the addition of ppm water, this system also regulates the length of time the misting pump (high pressure) is running according to the temperature and humidity conditions of the kale plant. The conductivity sensor detects the nutritional value, then the ultrasonic sensor detects the volume of water in the cross section then the RTC calculates the current age of the plant then the fuzzy process runs and the system outputs in ml how much additional nutrient water is needed to match the nutritional needs of the plant. After the pump outputs then the stirrer pump (aquarium) is turned on to mix the nutrients with water in the cross section. Furthermore, the dht22 sensor detects the temperature and humidity of the plant and turns on the misting pump according to the condition of the kale plant.
