Abstract

This research is entitled "Implementation of the Policy on the Use of SIKITO Applications in Region II Higher Education Service Institutions". The background of this research is the SIKITO Application Usage Policy which is applied at LLDIKTI II. The purpose of this study was to analyze the SIKITO Application Use Policy in Region II Higher Education Service Institutions. This study uses the theory of Ripley and Franklin with three dimensions that are used as benchmarks, namely the level of compliance, the smooth functioning of routines, and the realization of the desired performance and implementation impact. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by reviewing statutory regulations, books, supervisory reports related to this research, data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews, documentation, and field observations. The results of the study show that there are still limited human resources as SIKITO operators, so that the process of controlling lecturers' academic positions at LLDIKTI II will be hampered. Then the researcher also found that there were still problems during the Credit Score Assessment (PAK) for online academic functional positions that had an impact on the lack of credit scores, so that the proposed academic position file for the examiner lecturer could not be processed or rejected. The suggestion of this research is the addition of human resources as SIKITO operators who are experts in the field of IT (Information technology) and also lecturers need to understand and re-learn the rules and operational guidelines of lecturers' academic positions. And it is necessary to develop the SIKITO application again in order to minimize the occurrence of errors that will hinder the process of successful implementation
