Abstract

Fetal Weight Estimation (TBJ) is one way of interpreting the weight of the fetus while it is still in the uterus which is useful for monitoring fetal growth so that it is hoped that it can detect early the possibility of abnormal fetal growth including low birth babies. One of the factors that influence TBJ is behavior, family support and health care facilities. This study aims to analyze the behavior, family support and health facilities in pregnant women on the estimated weight of the fetus in Kepahiang Regency in 2021. The research design used in this study was a descriptive analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were pregnant women in Kepahiang District. The sample in this study was pregnant women aged 24-40 weeks, totaling 84 samples, taken by purposive sampling technique from 14 health centers in the district of Kepahiang. Determination of the estimated fetal weight using the Johnson Tauack formula. Collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used is univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results of univariate calculations were 72.6% of mothers had abnormal fetal weight estimates and 27.4% of mothers had normal fetal weight estimates. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, p-value 0.004 < 0.05 and PR 8.909, attitude p-value 0.002 <0.05 and PR 5.808 family support pvalue 0.001 < 0.05 and PR 19,938 with the estimated fetal weight. . There was no relationship between the actions p-value 0.141 > 0.05 and PR 2.373 and health facilities p-value 0.113 > 0.05 and PR 2.582 with the estimated fetal weight. Multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant variable on the estimated fetal weight in Kepahiang Regency in 2021 was the family support variable with a PR value of 17,780 (95% C.I; 1,876-168,548). This states that poor family support is at risk of experiencing an estimated abnormal fetal weight 17.780 times greater than mothers with good family support.
