Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat Apakah ada pengaruh Permainan bola basket terhadap kesegaran jasmani siswa kelas VIII SMP Adabiyah Palembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh permainan bola basket terhadap kesegaran jasmani siswa kelas VIII SMP Adabiyah Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Adabiyah Palembang, jumlah sampel penelitan ini 60 siswa putra dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan teknik ordinal pairing. Dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, 30 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Sebagai kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan Permainan bola basket dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes awal dan tes terakhir. Uji tatistik yang digunakan untuk menganalisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung = 9,7> ttabei =1,771. Dengan demikian, tolak hipotesis Hq dan terima Ha artinya ada pengaruh permainan bola basket terhadap kesegaran jasmani siswa kelas VIII SMP Adabiyah Palembang. Kata kunci: Permainan Bola Basket, Kesegaran Jasmani.
