Abstract

Isolasi dan Identifikasi Bakteri Vibrio spp pada Udang Windu (.Penaeus monodon) di Kawasan Mangrove Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau yang telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2013, Pengambilan sampel berupa udang windu yang terindikasi teijangkit penyakit diambil dari Kawasan Mangrove. Kemudian sampel diisolasi dan identifikasi di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sriwijaya, Inderalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah bakteri Vibrio spp dan jenis bakteri Vibrio spp yang menyerang udang windu di kawasan Mangrove Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau.Berdasarkan hasil isolasi didapat 13 isolat bakteri dan pada hasil seleksi didapat 8 isolat bakteri yaitu T1P3, T2P3, T4P3, T5P3, MC2P5, MC3P5, M1P5 dan B2P5. Setelah dilakukan karakterisasi dan identifikasi dari 8 isolat yang termasuk ke dalam spesies bakteri Vibrio, yaitu Vibrio sp. (T1P3), Vibrio sp. (T2P3), Vibrio sp. (T4P3), Vibrio sp. (T5P3), Vibrio sp. (MC2P5), Vibrio sp. (MC3P5), Vibrio sp. (M1P5) dan Vibrio sp. (B2P5).
