Abstract

Pengaruh Limbah Cair Tebu {Saccharum officianarum L.) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Nila GIFT {Oreochormis niloticus Trewavas) di Desa Ketiau Kecamatan Lubuk Keliat, PTPN VII (Persero) Unit Usaha Cinta Manis telah diteliti pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni 2013, bertempat di Laboratorium Fisiologi Hewan, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam serta Laboratorium Dasar Perikanan, Program Studi Budidaya Perairan dan Teknologi Hasil perikanan, Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh limbah cair tebu terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila GIFT (Oreochromis niloticus Trewavas). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan konsentrasi 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% dengan masing-masing 5 ulangan. Selama 5 minggu penelitian, diamati pertumbuhan ikan nila GIFT {Oreochormis niloticus Trewavas). Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan apabila terdapat perbedaan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian limbah cair Tebu dengan konsentrasi berbeda, berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila GIFT (Oreochormis niloticus Trewavas).
