Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang keanekaragaman jenis ikan di Sungai Dua Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan dari bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2013. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis ikan di Sungai Dua. Metode purposive sampling telah digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan selama tiga bulan berturut-turut yaitu bulan Februari, Maret dan April 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keanekaragaman pada bulan Februari 1,394, Maret 1,464, dan April 1,50. Hal ini menandakan bahwa tingkatannya relatif sedang. Nilai keseragaman yang didapat relative sedang selama tiga bulan berturut-turut yaitu 0,6; 0,5; 0,5. Nilai dominansi yang didapatkan rendah selama tiga bulan berturut-turut yaitu 0,32; 0,02 ; 0,26. Nilai indeks kesamaan antara hulu dan hilir selama tiga bulan pengamatan didapatkan kisaran nilai 44,4%-83,3%.
