Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are identical to the dormitory system where the students usually receive religious education through the recitation system, memorizing which is done face-to-face. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government issued a policy to allow educational institutions to conduct face-to-face learning but must follow strict health protocols. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out how to implement health protocol policies during face-to-face learning at Islamic boarding schools in Muara Enim Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Research informants totaled 20 people. The data used in the research are primary and secondary data which are then analyzed using content analysis. The results showed that residents in Islamic boarding schools already knew the health protocol. Already have SOPs, health protocol infrastructure has CTPS and health messages, health protocol behavior when in dormitories, mosques and in the classroom and when guests want to visit Islamic boarding schools have been implemented properly. In conclusion, in general the implementation of health protocols at Rawdhotut Taufiq Islamic Boarding School and Darussa'adah Islamic Boarding School has been going well, it is hoped that the Ministry of Religion, Health Centers, Covid-19 Task Force can provide assistance in overcoming obstacles and shortcomings in the application of health protocols so that they can run smoothly optimal.
