Abstract

It had been done a research about kinetics of degradation petroleum contaminated soil by using bacteria indigeneous Microccocus sp and Pseudomonas pseudomallei the concentration total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) is 88.88%. The research proposed, contaminated soil conditioned in 2.5%; 5%; 7.5%; 10%; 12.5% and 15% concentration with the of bulking agent 10% and 1% nutrients (N: P: K) with ratio 10 : 1 : 0.1. The bioremediation had been done diiring 10 weeks. With differential method, the degradation reaction order of control, Micrococcus sp and Pseudomonas pseudomallei are 0.831; 0.89 and 1.387. Then to determine the rate constant of degradation by using integral method by using sample with concentration 7.5%. The inspection is done each 2 weeks for 10 weeks with the reaction rate constants of control, Micrococcus sp and Pseudomonas pseudomallei are 0.094%°169week'1, 0.109%°'I1week"1 and 0.0206%^387week~l respectively. The GC-MS analyze showed that the bacteria could degrade the petroleum contaminated soil.
