Abstract

The Regional Office of Tourism and Culture of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra is an agency that has an obligation to carry out government affairs of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in the field of culture and tourism such as regional autonomy. It was observed from the salary processing process at the Tourism and Culture Office at this time, especially in the recapitulation of employee salaries, the use of computers when data processing has not been computerized to the maximum due to the salary recapitulation system that is running manually and accumulates every month and is quite difficult to find. In addition, in the salary slip section, civil servants and honorary employees do not get a salary slip per individual but can only physically see salary details in the salary recapitulation document. In a system like this a salary recapitulation report in the form of a physical document that is also used as an important archive for the salary section will cause several problems, such as if the data is needed it will be quite difficult and time consuming to find it and the accumulation of files that can cause damage to the file. The purpose of the preparation of this final project is to create a website-based employee salary recapitulation application using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Hopefully the results of this Final Project can make it easier for employees in the process of managing salary recapitulation at the Tourism and Culture Office. This Employee Salary Recapitulation application was built using the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database and using the CodeIgniter framework.
