Abstract

Inventarisasi dan identifikasi Jenis Bambu Di Kawasan Hutan Bambu Pagar Alam Provinsi Sumatra Selatan telah dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2014-Mei 2014. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi jenis bambu yang tumbuh di kawasan Hutan Bambu Pagar Alam. Identifikasi dilakukan di kawasan Hutan Bambu Pagar Alam dan proses Identifikasi jenis bambu merujuk pada pustaka K.M Wong (1995) dan E.A Widjaja (1995). Hasil menjelaskan bahwa terdapat 6 jenis bambu yaitu Bambusa vulgaris cv vittate McClure, Dendrocalamus asper Schult, Gigantochloa wrayi Gamble, Gigantochloa robusta Kurz, Gigantochloa scortechinii Gamble dan Schizostachyum aciculare Gamble. Jenis bambu yang mendominasidi Kawasan tersebut adalah Gigantochloa robusta Kurz sebanyak 117 rumpun dari 125 rumpun yang diamati.
