Abstract

In this study, a comparison of the existing rainfall data in the field and rainfall data from the GPM (Global Precipitation Measurement) satellite was carried out. Rainfall data from the field and GPM satellite are then processed and validated between the two data. If the data generated from the GPM (Global Precipitation Measurement) is close to the data in the field, then the GPM (Global Precipitation Measurement) data can be used, one of which is the estimation of rainfall data. In this study, several methods were used to calculate monthly rainfall, namely by determining the correlation coefficient (CC), root mean square error (RMSE), Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE).
