Abstract

Inhibiting factors in onion cultivation is anthracnose disease caused by Colletotrichum spp. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of varieties, doses of NPK compound fertilizer and interaction of red variety varieties and NPK compound fertilizer on the development of Antraknosa disease. The research was conducted in phytopathopology laboratory of Plant Pest and Disease Department and research field of Agricultural Faculty Sriwijaya University Indralaya from August to November 2017. This research used Randomized Block Design Factorial (RBDF), with three types of varieties (Thailand, Tajuk and Bauji), four treatment doses of NPK compound fertilizer (100 kg / ha, 200 kg / ha, 300 kg / ha and 400 kg / ha) and repeated three times. The results showed that Bauji variety (V3) showed the highest plant height and number of tillers. The dose of NPK compound fertilizer affects the number of tillers per hill, weight of tuber per hill and anthracnose disease progression. The highest number of tillers per dot was achieved at a dose of 400 kg / ha, the weight of tubers per hill was reached at a dose of 100 kg / ha and the severity of progression of the highest anthracnose disease was achieved at a dose of 300 kg / ha. There were interactions between varieties and doses of NPK compound fertilizer on all observed variables. Bauji variety, dose of 300 kg / ha showed the best interaction at plant height. Bauji variety, dose 400 kg / ha showed good interaction on the number of tillers per hill, number of leaves per hill, number of tubers and weight of tuber harvest per hill. Thai varieties, doses of 300 kg / ha showed the highest interaction of anthracnosis severity.
