Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata dan pertanian di Kota Pagar Alam semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Banyaknya wisata alam dan tempat wisata yang ada di Kota Pagar Alam merupakan beberapa faktor yang membuat wisatawan tertarik untuk mengunjungi Kota Pagar Alam. Jumlah wisatawan yang terus meningkat perlu diiringi dengan ketersediaan fasilitas menginap untuk menunjang kegiatan dan menarik wisatawan yang berkunjung. Berdasarkan kebutuhan berupa fasilitas penginapan dan besarnya potensi alam dan pariwisata tersebut dibtuhkan solusi berupa penginapan yang dapat menjadi tempat beristirahat sekaligus rekreasi, terutama rekreasi alam seperti resort dengan agrowisata. Resort dengan Agrowisata ini mengusung perpaduan antara budaya lokal dengan tampak yang lebih modern. Beberapa aspek seperti material, bentuk, dan ketahanan bangunan terhadap gempa disesuaikan dengan teknologi dan material yang lebih modern tanpa sepenuhnya menghapus eksistensi dari budaya lokal setempat yaitu rumah baghi.
