Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effect of pineapple liquide organic fertilizer with different dosages of NPK to the growth of dormant stump of Rubber IRR 112 clone. This study was conducted from July to September 2021 in Research Station of Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The study was used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with six treatments, and three blocks. There were 5 stumps for each treatment unit. The treatments were P0 = control (without liquide organic fertilizer) + 12 g NPK/polybag, P1 = 100 ml pineapple LOF + 10 g NPK/polybag, P2 = 100 ml pineapple LOF + 8 g NPK/ polybag, P3 = 100 ml pineapple LOF + 6 g NPK/polybag, P4 = 100 ml pineapple LOF + 4 g NPK/polybag, P5 = 100 ml pineapple LOF without NPK. The parameters measured in this study were time of shoot break, percentage of rubber sprout, heigth of shoot, speed of shoot growth, amount of leaf, diameter of shoot, shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root fresh weight, root dried weight, shoot water content and root length. The result of this research showed that the application of pineapple liquide organic fertilizer (LOF) with different doses of NPK significantly affected only for parameter of percentage of rubber sprout, but had no significant effect on other observation parameters, the treatment of pineapple LOF 100 ml + 8 g NPK/polybag (P2) gave highest result on percentage of rubber sprout.
