Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effect of grit scallop-shell and feed restriction to Arabian chicken eggshell quality. The research was held in Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul (BPTU) Sapi Dwiguna dan Ayam Petelur Sembawa for three month ffom Oktober - Desember 2007. This research using completely randomized design (RAL) compiled Factorial 2x3. by 3 calcium source (R) and 3 given feed restriction (M). That were research 6 treatmens combination, every treatment consisted by 3 restating, every restating consisted by 5 Silver brakel kriel. Respectively observed perameter were shell thickness, histology of shell and analyze calcium and phosporus. Data were processed as design if any significant result on parameter will cary on Duncan'S test. The result show that Grit Scallop-Shell and Feed Restriction treatment were give non significant result to shell thickess, histology of shell and analyze calcium dan phosporus
