Abstract

Technological developments have brought considerable changes in various fields, including in the field of animal husbandry. Farmers in Indonesia still use conventional methods to feed their livestock, this is an ineffective problem because farmers have to spend a lot of time and capital to provide animal feed. Based on these problems, the authors propose a feeding system using IoT-based fuzzy logic control. This system is designed to make it easier for farmers to provide feed either manually or automatically. In this project, the blynk application is used which functions as a tool to remotely control or control the availability of feed. To set a schedule or feeding time using the RTC Module DS3231. Servo Motor SG90 is used as a driving tool to open the lid where the feed comes out. From the results of experiments that have been carried out, it is found that the system that has been designed can work well, where the system can provide animal feed automatically which can be controlled remotely using the blynk application with an average error value of 0.94%. In addition, in measuring feed weight using Sugeno's fuzzy logic, the results obtained system error or error of 9% and a truth level of 91% which indicates that Sugeno's fuzzy logic can be used to predict the amount of feed quite accurately. The system has been able to manage the schedule of feeding chickens very well using Real Time Clock (RTC) with test results showing a success rate of 100%.
