Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Non-Cash Transactions (through APMK and E-money proxies), National Income (GDP), Money Supply (M0) and Velocity of Money with the Vector Auto Regression method and using time series data from three different research periods, including the general period 2010-2021 (quarter), the period before the Covid-19 pandemic and the period during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the research analysis show that in the general period and the Covid-19 pandemic period, there is a relationship between JUB (M0) and non-cash transactions (APMK and E-money). Positive responses occurred in the general period and negative responses occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic period. In general and during the pandemic period, national income is positively affected by JUB (M0) and velocity of money. In general and the Covid-19 pandemic period, GDP positively affects velocity of money, while in general, non-cash instruments (E-money and APMK) positively affect velocity of money.
