Abstract

ABSTRACT Terminal Sako Palembang City is a location that has the potential to experience air pollution due to NO2 due to the number of vehicles that pass and stop at the terminal are. NO2 pollutant is obtained from exhaust gas emissions from passing vehicles. This type of research is descriptive research with environmental health risk analysis method. The sample of respondents was taken by the Random Sampling System as many as 63 respondents. Ambient air samples were taken at 5 points according to the location of the number of traders and the selection of open areas according to the SNI-7119-2-2017 method. Measurements using Aircheck Sampler and UV-Vis spectrophotometer analysis technique. The results showed that the average NO2 concentration in Sako Terminal Palembang City was 28.06 g/Nm3, the respondent's body weight was 56.83 kg, the exposure time was 11.008 hours/day, the exposure frequency was 352 days/year and the exposure duration was 5.38 years. . Realtime intake value is 0.0046660 mg/kg/day while lifetime exposure is 0.000833 mg/kg/day. The risk level (RQ) for realtime exposure is 0.214065 and lifetime exposure is 0.042278, which shows the results of RQ < 1. It can be concluded that all respondents are not at risk of exposure to nitrogen dioxide (NO2). Suggestions from this research, traders should reduce their selling time with a maximum limit of 8 hours/day in accordance with Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and use Personal Protective Equipment such as mask.
