Abstract

In the tourist area in South Lahat District, especially Taman Ayek Lematang, TMC Benteng, Taman Bunga Benteng Indah and Waterboom Wahana Alam, there are still inadequate environmental sanitation facilities to support the reduction of the spread of COVID-19 during the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to analyze conditions of environmental sanitation facilities and Health Health Protocols in Tourism Places in South Lahat District during the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic. The study used a descriptive qualitative research method using an observation approach, in-depth interviews and photovoice techniques. The results showed that most tourist attractions, for environmental sanitation facilities, were inadequate. This was because there were tourist sites that did not have suggestions for shelters for how long they were physically strong, did not have complete hand washing facilities, and toilets at tourist attractions were still dirty. and actions for implementing health protocols that have not been maximized according to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 382 of 2020. It can be concluded that the existing sanitation facilities in the tourist attractions of South Lahat District are still lacking to meet the needs of cleanliness in tourist attractions and measures to prevent COVID-19 all tourist attractions have not carried out optimally both from the owner, workers, visitors, therefore it is necessary to do this. improvement of inadequate sanitation facilities, and provision for workers related to COVID-19 preventive measures
