Abstract

To January until September 2021, overburden production at PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa only reached 61,77% of the target, where the accumulated production in January until September was 2.229.780 BCM from the production target of 3.609.303 BCM. While the overburden stripping production target at PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa in 2021 was 5.420.910 BCM. Therefore, it was necessary to evaluate the productivity, availability and utilization of excavator and dump truck to increase the achievement of production in 2021 and to find out the inhibiting factors in achieving production at PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa. The data taken in the form of primary data includes cycle time of digging and hauling equipments and work efficiency, then secondary data includes the number and types of digging and hauling equipment, working hours, repair hours, and stand by hours. Based on the calculation results of the actual production in 2021 is only 3.960.990,68 BCM for digging equipment and 3.772.841,57 BCM for hauling equipment with a production achievement percentage of 69,6%. The value of availability and utilization of digging and hauling equipment was taken as an average value, where the value of mechanical availability and physical availability were relatively large, namely 79,55% and 84,71%. While, value of use of availability and effective utilization were relatively small namely 46,14% dan 41,24%. Factors that affect the production and performance of mechanical equipment were work efficiency, haul road geometry, then insitu factors include swell factor and bucket filling. Efforts are being made to increase production, namely by minimizing the obstacles that can be avoided and planning the number of equipment needed based on production targets. After making improvements to work efficiency, then the production achievement was obtained by 94,55%.
