Abstract

German language is one of the most popular international language and still widely studied. One of the things that make the learning process of German language easier is by changing the the inflected or derived sentence into root form. Therefore this research implements the CMR stemming method that can process the conversion of the sentence. This research uses data of 30105 root words. These data will be matched with the test data of 2384 words. The results of this research proves that the accuracy level of CMR stemming algorithm is 99%. This is because the more data in the corpus, the greater level of accuracy it can gained.
