Abstract

This research is a research and development method. The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of digital scrapbook media in learning to write short stories based on folklore for class X students of SMA N 14 Palembang. The research and development method used is a modification between Borg and Gall and Alessi Trolip. This digital scrapbook media in learning to write short stories based on folklore for class X students of SMA N 14 Palembang was developed based on the results of needs analysis and analysis of the objective conditions of teachers and students. The next stage is planning, at this stage the researcher will carry out the design process by making flowcharts and storyboards, developing products, conducting field tests in the form of expert validation involving material, media and language experts. The validation result from the material aspect gets a score of 51 or if it is converted into percent (98%) of the maximum total score of 52. Furthermore, the validation results from the media aspect get a total score of 42 or if it is a percentage it becomes (87.5%) of the total score. a maximum of 48. In the aspect of language validation, a score of 37 is obtained or if it is converted into percent, it becomes (84%) of the maximum total score, which is 44. Judging from the three validation results, in terms of material, media and language aspects, it can be categorized as very valid.
